Honeys Makin’ Moneys- Girl Tribe Pop Up ATL

Re: Title…that was the theme for the Girl Tribe Pop Up in Atlanta this past Saturday. There were over 40 women-owned businesses that showed-up and showed-out during the festive event.

Located at the Mason Fine Art, there were fashion boutiques parked outside in the cutest RVs and girl power themed signage before you walked inside. I was greeted by some of the guests who were leaving with giant smiles on their faces, I knew that I was in for an incredible event.

The Girl Tribe Pop up is a traveling pop up shop that features your favorite women-led brands, DIY workshops, fitness classes, influencers, cocktails, jams and bites and was founded by best friend entrepreneurs Carrie Barkeepers and Sarah Baucom in the fall of 2015.

When I entered the event I was greeted with a super cute check-in and a swag bag filled with Dry Bar, Belk, and Winky Lux products, just to name a few. I love FREE stuff!

One of the first boutiques that caught my attention was a brand called QUoIN. It is an ethical lifestyle brand specializing in coin-focused jewelry to provide awareness and impact on the fight against human trafficking. This brand’s mission really hit home. I live in Atlanta, Ga, and unfortunately we have one of the highest rates of sex trafficking. I love a brand that gives back to great causes and also creates great products.

I had to do a quick photo session at the Winky Lux booth. Winky Lux is a makeup brand, with dope packing based out of NYC, that is cruelty-free, paraben free, sulfate-free, and phthalate-free. Did I mention their dope packaging?

Next up was Links by J. Kiere. She specializes in creating one of kind delicate jewelry. She launched her brand while still in undergrad and has been going strong ever since. She created the cutest pair of pearl earrings for me on the spot while I perused around the event.

I’ve been insta-crushing on a brand called Gilded for a while. They specialize in luxury candles and body care products. The packaging of the candles caught my eye. They are beautiful marble in different shades with different scented insert options. If you love style and have a knack for aromatherapy, then you need to have one of these candles!

Outside, I met my spirit sister, Cheyenne Moore, the owner of the BV Boutique. I was drawn to Cheyenne’s RV that had the words “Get in B*TCH We’re Going Shopping.” That’s my kind of vehicle! The BV Boutique specializes in trendy fashion and accessories that will make you stand out in any event. I purchased earrings and a cute “FUCCI” belt.

Head over to Girl Tribe Pop Up so you can sign up for their mailing list. Trust. Me. You don’t want to miss their next pop-up if they are in your city. It’s literally the perfect event to have girl time and leave feeling amazing!
